Mother's Day
(Mother's Day poem at the bottom of the page)
Mother's Day : A day dedicated to all the Moms around the world. A day to show our love, gratitude and to thank them for everything they do. As the first entry on my blog, I want to talk about my Mom, the efforts she makes everyday, and maybe you all could relate it to your Mom's.
She kept me in her womb for 9 months through all that pain and hardships. I'll never know how happy she felt when she saw my face for the first time as these are the feelings you could never put into words. She kissed me on my forehead and I knew I was born in the hands of a queen. She became my teacher at a very young age, she taught me how to say "Mama" and taught me how to walk. She must've been in tears of joy the first time I walked to her on my own or the first time I ever called her "MOM".
She told me stories whenever I was unable to sleep and hugged me softly whenever I was afraid of the nightmares. She taught me the difference between good and the bad and gave me the strength to go through the tough times in my life.
She gives everything to her children without asking for anything in return. But it's our prime objective to give her the love and care she deserves and to stay faithful to her, Forever.
Since, it's Mother's Day today. We are talking about loving her but to be honest, we would take her for granted for the rest of the year. We would forget to thank her for every little thing she does and we would also forget to make her feel special.
At the end, I would like to end on one simple note.
" We don't need any specific day to celebrate the presence of MOMs, we should celebrate her every single day of the year. Because mothers are the angles in the human disguise and the only person who will love you Unconditionally, the only person who would stay by your side even if the whole world is against you."
